Music is as much a part of our culture as food and the French language.

Broussard is the birthplace of “Illinois” Jacquet, a jazz tenor saxophonist who played with the likes of Cab Calloway, Count Basie, and even President Bill Clinton. Most days of the week, you can find a great local band cranking out country, Cajun, Zydeco, and everything in between. Put on your boogie shoes and head out to one of these venues. Also, follow us on Facebook to learn about upcoming outdoor music concerts and festivals in one of our parks or our historic downtown.
